This is the sweetest original beach house! We enjoyed walking the beach, swimming, biking time on the dock with a book, kayaking and relaxing on the porch. The downstairs area for guests is perfect. The house is well equipped and very cozy. The hosts were wonderful and we’re happy to say that we’ll be returning next year.
Fish weren’t biting (until the last day) but we had a blast. Location was great and just a short walk to a pretty uncrowded beach that isn’t super close to the public access points. Awesome porch with rockers and a view. Will check back next visit to the island.

Great quiet place to stay. Just steps from the ocean! There was a huge porch that we had supper on every night and the back dock is peaceful with nice sunsets. The beach in the area is less crowded. Our family didn’t want to leave!
This comfy old Pawleys house is wonderful. The beds were great, the relaxing areas were cozy(especially the porch swing), and the kitchen was well supplied. The bathrooms were updated, and the outdoor shower was really appreciated. Beach access is via a path through the dunes which is cool. The beach on this north end is wide, beautiful, and uncrowded. Even though there are houses all around, The Beach House feels very private. We very much enjoyed our stay.
